I LOLed at your first few words Curtis, as no, it's not very plausible.

But boy oh boy would that result and watching the grown men cry part be sound
Not as futile as we all believed lol up the title derailing toffees , not going to lie I didn't anticipate that marvelous performance but i savored every minute of it lol

My biggest GOT regret is my choice of name. I don't think of the RS as crimson, just "red," so I genuinely don't associate it with that. It's literally part of the name of my college football team I grew up with (the Crimson Tide), but I don't actually follow college football any more, so I'm thinking of changing it anyway. Haven't thought up a new one yet, though.
I hate Alabama (Razorback here) but I understand. Glad you’re with us :)

What can I say. As most of the old timers here (I almost read through the whole thread and only few people believed in positive outcome) I haven't expected anything from this game. I considered a draw would be a miracle, but still I decided to watch at least the first half. Boy, glad I did.

What a dynamic game that was! Even after we scored first I didn't give much hope because so often we see the things turn around badly for us.
Closing up after the scoring wouldn't do us any good, and the way the first half ended I thought that would be the scenario - that added a lot more of anxiety. Only after the second goal I started to think we may have get this.
This massive result is the combination of hard work, character (how often I complained about the lack of it), and of course luck. Speaking of latter let's be honest it rarely was on our side recently. How many games we couldn't capitalize on opportunities we had created. And here we are scoring with every third shot on target.
Being part of hardcore critics of Pickford, I always gave credit to his brilliant ability of saving close range shots, that what he did perfectly yesterday. Thought to give MoM to Godfrey for his huge clearance early in the first half (because conceding an early goal would be devastating), then to Branthwaite for his highly important goal, then to Gueye for his hard work, and of course I thought of Dom and his header. But in the end, my MoM is Tarkowski maybe his work wasn't so obvious, but as the captain and the central back he did play a massive role in this game.
This is derby win is incredible! I hope you all - young, mature and grumpy old ones - will enjoy it as long as I do. I think I put the Blue heart to every single "Yesssssss!" comment after the Dom hitting the back of the net. I'm really happy for all of us, and this son of gun from this thread who put his 2 quids on Everton win - way to go pal! I really wish you put more, my faith wasn't there even for a penny. And @matty1878 you were saying about bouncing if we draw, I guess now your wearing the beard made of clouds flying high in the clear Royal Blue sky 🙂.

What a difference a game makes

38 points earned and 30 on the board (cheating premier league scumbags) which remarkably this season could be enough to see us safe already… but let’s not count our chickens just yet

What better chance to get some more points in than a visit from those unprecedented quadruple chasing, pearly white having, media darlings: Liverpool Football Club?

Everton with a free hit?
Nothing to lose?
Five points clear of the drop with this game in hand?
Another famous ShibbyWiggles match preview with a 100% success rate?
Maybe get that lad in from today’s VAR as well yeah?
The stars have aligned and yeah I’d probably take a draw too, UTFT!

Team
Pickford
Myko
Tarks
Branthwaite
NOT YOUNG
Gana
Garner
Doucoure
McNeil
Harrison
Hopefully Big Beto if he’s ok
Job4life here I think, mate

I’ve got about nine video confs today and can barely speak, my vocal chords are still in trauma!

Well, what a night. The old fighting spirit came back with a bang didn't it. I thought the defence was immense and I don’t mind admitting when Mykolenko got subbed for Young, I thought we were doomed, but Youngy had a cracker. Gana Gueye looked ten years younger, Harrison and McNeil looked like they did at the start of the season, Dom continued his scoring run. No negatives other than Myko’s injury.

And I will have the time of my lift today in work texting all the mutants to say “Well, your serial bottlers have caved in on the run-in yet again!” “You really let Jurgen down, I thought your players loved him?” Etc. oh how I will enjoy myself today lol. If we show the same fight on Saturday we may well be mathematically safe at the end of it, and wouldn’t that be a surprise with a few games to spare. Well done Everton, well done Dyche for getting a victory at our place. Long overdue and massively enjoyed, COYB!

Every now & then the football gods smile upon us. Not only do we beat them, but effectively end their title run at Goodison. It's the stuff wet dreams are made of.

How funny was it after Dom scored & Klopp was grinning in exacerbation. I haven't laughed so much in ages.

Fantastic team effort Everton. More please.
I laughed more at the sight of Alexander arnold crying on the bench lol
