Maybe we shouldn't have got rid of him after all...Randomly they assigned the result to the week the game was originally scheduled.
just checked through results.
Historian will add Another draw for Dyche…

The stats between this seen and last confirm what we saw on the pitch, Dyche was the architect of his own downfall and just threw everything that was working last season out the window instead of attempting to build on it.
No one to blame but himself in an astonishing act of footy manager harikiri
Fantastic analysis of how we've improved under Moyes.
Yeah I'd have Bowen at the moment as well as Ndiaye and injured McNeil play on the left don't they?. I've looked at Bowen's stats and I think they back up my thoughts...a good season then a bad season goalscoring wise....so the sort of player you as a team live or die by. If Ndiaye played on the right I'd honestly rather have him than Bowen: I think he has more to his gameThats not a worry as he isn’t an Everton playerhe is also a RW and isnt intended to be the main goalscorer.
I’d love us to have a Lukaku esque striker but we have never had one before or after him in the PL and players of his quality are very rare for clubs not in the top 3/4.
I’d love is to have all the best players in the world and be winning everything, that’s the aim and where I want us to be. But let’s be realistic and for where we are and want to be within the next 3/4 years, Bowen would be a fantastic level of player for us. Well above any of the RW we have as options currently.
It’s all moot anyway. As he isn’t and won’t be an Everton player. The point is, of all the players you could throw at Moyes being blinded by, Bowen is a poor shout considering his goal returns as a RW.
Not watched it yet, but this doesn’t surprise me at all.Just watched this. Don't agree with absolutely everything but overall an interesting analysis and the stats are interesting and kind of reflect what I saw with my eyes when Dyche was manager. He was prioritising defence and not committing enough players forward. The fact we were high on turnovers under dyche but then totally failed to turn any of the turnovers into goals!![]()
Yes, absolutely no runners off DCL everNot watched it yet, but this doesn’t surprise me at all.
Our defending last season seemed a lot more front foot compared to this (under Dyche). But we were useless at creating overloads.
Striker/s were often isolated.
DCL would win headers, but we had no runners off him for the flick on.
Pretty much Moyes seems doing the same as Nuno at Forest, just in a way quicker time.
Building up on what was good in majority, not trying to do something the team isn't able to, finding the right tweaks to bring in the results with the almost the same players or even smaller squad due to injuries.
Knew he was going to bring better results than Dyche, but it's way more than I dreamed of.
I mean, you are shifting onto an entirely different arguement altogether now. But also, Ndiaye doesn’t play RW so it’s irrelevant.Yeah I'd have Bowen at the moment as well as Ndiaye and injured McNeil play on the left don't they?. Yeah but my original point wasn't that bowen was bad, it was comparing Bowen to players he had in his first stint at Everton and how I think his unwavering loyalty to some of them is a weakness of Moyes as a manager.I mean, you are shifting onto an entirely different arguement altogether now. But also, Ndiaye doesn’t play RW so it’s irrelevant.
8 goals from RW is hardly a “bad season” when playing for a team like West Ham. Let’s not act like we are too good for a player that has scored 59 goals across the last 4 seasons. Considering our last 4 seasons top scorers each year only totalled 47.
Or, back to the original point of you using Bowen as a negative against Moyes saying he was blinded by him, his numbers back up Moyes picking him.
we are BALLIN' under Moyes.
