Richarlison

Could be a good test of how our Texan overlords deal with the Levy’s of this world.
Previously we’d have probably been bent over for a £10 loan fee plus his wages or something similar for 1 season.
If we can get him on a 12m loan (£5m) with obligation to buy for £35m if he makes 20 starts, could see that being palatable for all.
That said, I just don’t think he will fit the profile they will be looking for.
£40m deal for 27 year old looks like writing of £40m in 4 or 5 years.
£40m on a 21-23 year old, different story all together.

Im good sometimes tho, right?
I think you’re smashing even when you are wrong!
Within the context of signing Dele Alli on a free for 45 minutes of magic b/c he had already lost more ability than most on the pitch that day had ever had, yes, his signing helped us avoid relegation and was worth the punt in late January
Tom we were going to pay Spurs £40M if he turned out to be good enough with £10 bleedin million after a certain amount of games so only an idiot, which Kenwright was when it came to football knowledge, would have signed that deal, and Ali is on the bench for an Italian team enjoying spending the £12M he got for the time he spent at Everton.

I loved him for his attitude and respect for the club but he wasn't that good even at his best, so after 2 years of being unable to stay fit he'd be a hard swerve for me. If he hadn't been here before there'd be no argument about it at all, I hope the days of us signing players for those reasons are gone now.

Bringing back Richarlison because he 'loves Everton' smack of a Bill Kenwright type decision.' He was very good at times, but also frustrating, as he could/should have been more consistent.

Lets learn our lesson and look for a talented younger player on the up who doesn't require a massive fee and salary.
