New Everton Stadium

This is quite good from Colin Chong , we are five years ahead of any competitor and are in talks with Peel about buying Nelson Dock and building something “complimentary “ to BMD…
That's a fascinating piece, really revealing. I'd love to know what they have in mind for Nelson Dock, but the biggest thing for me was the confirmation that Goodison isn't going to be knocked down any time soon, and that the women's team may well be playing there for the next fifteen years.

Unbelievable - this is Everton, but we seem to be getting this absolutely spot-on. And it looks like we might end up with Bramley Moore and Goodison.

Need to change the words of that Spinners song to "We speak with an accent exceedingly rare, meet under a statue exceedingly bare and if you want a footy stadium we've got one spare in our Everton home".😄

Richest club in the world leeching off taxpayers for the infrastructure.

If EFC had succeeded in doing that, we wouldn't have the transport fiasco we have now.

Very annoying to see Burnham backing this too.
Appreciate it grates that Burnham is supporting it, but he's doing his job. More than can be said for Rotherham.

As Chong said, if there's any Government money for a regeneration and infrastructure project around a football stadium then it should be going to ours which is, to coin a phrase, oven ready. We're not asking for money to make our stadium viable, it's already built with no public money (save a heritage grant). We just want them to do their bit and improve the infrastructure and stimulate the regeneration 🤷‍♂️

Imagine if we bought all the land down to Costco and developed retail, hospitality and entertainment spaces. We'd be generating revenue on man united levels.
Before LFC do. It would be just like them to buy up all the land close by on the cheap, and plan a future super stadium twice as big as ours next door, to literally cast a shadow over BMD. You would think our owners already have plans though… you’d think.

Imagine if we bought the whole city and made everyone live inside a giant Everton Stadium.

That would certainly help our PSR going forward,TFG would be foolish not to consider it.
