Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

We’ve got an unbalanced squad especially if most of the ooc players go. Coleman, Young, Keane, Doucoure Calvert Lewin, Gueye, Harrison

I’d like to keep Gueye but the rest can go but that’s a lot of experience going out the door. It essentially leaves Pickford and Tarkowski as the only senior players.

Then there’s a core of experienced but young players Branthwaite OBrien Ndiaye McNeil Garner Patterson hopefully Alcaraz

Then there’s some young players like Chermiti Armstrong Dixon who are somewhat unproven at this level.

Just wouldn’t surprise me to see Moyes balancing the squad a bit age wise with a few players even on loan which is why I’m not surprised the likes of Norgaard is linked.
Norgaard apparently signed a new contact today...

Newspaper rumour that Manchester City are now interested in Brathwaite. Perhaps some sort of deal including James McAtee or Nico O’Reilly coming to us - possibly both.

McAtee is left-footed but plays on right wing – so much better than Jack Harrison or Jesper Lindstrom.

O’Reilly looks an exceptional prospect as a number 10/striker – again so much more potential than DCL.
Ake, Gvardiol, both left sided centre backs
Plus signed Vitor Reis & Khusanov in January

Anytime i watch Sunderland its always Dan Neil i come away impressed by - even if its Bellingham and Rigg with their names in the papers.

Yeah we were heavily linked with him. Obviously hes also 6 years older.

With Rigg, he looks to have the intelligence that gives him spacial awareness so his positioning and runs, as well as his passing stand out.

I think that is something the top midfielders all seem to have. He's not there by a long way but that awareness of his surroundings is going to be a hot commodity.

Different players but Armstrong at Derby playing in that RCM position. If Rigg was to continue in the centre then he may be a long term partner at LCM.

The more highly rated England youth internationals that can add value to our squad...the better.

let spurs buy another overpriced youngster instead
Would rather take a chance on someone from a different league or the championship with good metrics, that price is ridiculous we can't afford it especially with several positions to fill. We need two wingers really.

we developed tom davies and he left on a free contract

they can do whatever they want sure, they don't even have to sell him if they don't want to

heck why don't we just ask for 200 mil for ashley young

why not

why the hell not

Not sure what your trying to say here

Tom Davies was no longer under contract and hence he left for free, if he was still under contract he could have been valued at what ever the club deem fit.

This lad at Southampton is under contract so they can value him as they see fit and if other teams want him they have to cough up that’s how it works no matter how stupid the valuation is.

So not sure what point your trying to make

Thats not even the biggest issue.

  • Current Salary: Vlahovic's current net salary is €12 million per season, making him the highest-paid player in Serie A.

  • Gross Salary: His gross salary is estimated to be around €22.2 million.
Wages in Italy have always been higher than ppl realise, mainly because wages are reported as NET, rather than Gross in ENgland.

His current wage would make him the 2nd highest even in the prem.

You’d be surprised how much of a cut he’d be willing to take when he sees a beautiful, (almost) new Toyota parked on his driveway courtesy of his new paymasters.

Do you rate Dibling? All the top clubs seem to be circling him for big money but whenever I see him I just think he looks a bit short on pace.
