Should gel nicely with Mahrez and Rob Houlding, thanks for this update Jinks.
My favourite Jinks update ever this one.

He plays more behind the striker. 9 in 21 ish this year. Not exactly prolific.
It’s nonsense, so basically we’re actually paying money for players only 25/26 and maybe 27. As TFG have said they won’t be spending money on players over a certain age, I’d guess that’s 28 and above. And by this fella’s reckoning we’re only singing players for the youth teams 17/18???? So no players 20 to 24???
Bye Charly it was fun while it lasted
Why is it foolish and a missed opportunity?
Did you not read this bit?
' The reasoning is that the asking price for younger players is currently too inflated and poor value in terms of associated risk, with us having limited funds to carry out a large overhaul.'
All about opinions, I wouldn’t have wan bisaka at Everton, and they’re playing him wing back, he’s nearly as bad as Myko going forward. It’s no different to West Ham taking doucoure off us, played a load of games for us last few years, but would he make them better?
And we need better than prem standard
And he (Coufal) will be 33 in summer, is declining, noticeably slower than he used to be, and has been a bit crap the last two seasons overall.
I have a fear (possibly unfounded) that we will end up with a load of “workman” like signings in the summer, none of whom will really be capable of elevating the team beyond 7th-10th positions.
While people will start foaming to point that would be a marked improvement on recent finishes, I’m not convinced the current squad isn’t already at that level, just been subject to a series dreadful managers, off field distractions / excuses and injuries.
Will we be in the market for players who can be consistent game changers or more likely in for more of what we have already / minor improvements over current players?
Is Moyes up to attracting and coaching the mavericks who have something about them, or are we looking for grafters with the occasional sprinkling of magic?
Not new info but Jinky is desperate to get a transfer guess correct.
He is such a good player that I cannot see this being true at all.
Interestingly (or not) I went to see Mainz Vs Stuttgart in January and me and my mate came away from the game both agreeing that the most promising player on show was the massive Stuttgart striker. He's absolutely huge, but technically very good. Played in a front two, which you don't see very often nowadays, but the one weakness he had was that he was nowhere near as good in the air as you'd expect from a lad of his size.![]()

Gotcha. More interested now.He plays more behind the striker. 9 in 21 ish this year.
Huh. Moyes loves huge attacking midfielders. Could be his new Fellaini/Soucek.He plays more behind the striker. 9 in 21 ish this year.
Still wouldn’t have him and he wasn’t worth the 50mil utd payed for himAaron Wan Bissaka, 2 goals 2 assists from full back (only played back 3 since Potter took over)
Mykolenko got his first assist in 18 months the other week
Rather that than our current list of forwards who are mainly miss and missGreat player but very hit and miss
No. They were a bit cagey on that. The interpretation I had was: Plus side, not talking like we have to sell him, negative side, we may need to in order to do the level of rebuild we need.did they say anything about whether this summer's spending could be predicated by the money received from a potential sale of branthwaite?
That's what I was thinking mate. Hope it's true.Huh. Moyes loves huge attacking midfielders. Could be his new Fellaini/Soucek.
It's actually mad that some lad who are huge height wise are useless I'm the air.... Just don't have the spring.... Keane and O Brien are huge units but I wouldn't bet on them beating a prime Tim Cahill in the air to be honest.Interestingly (or not) I went to see Mainz Vs Stuttgart in January and me and my mate came away from the game both agreeing that the most promising player on show was the massive Stuttgart striker. Crouch was awful in the air. His heading technique was generally like a 5 year old's: close your eyes, dip your head, and let the ball bounce off it. Yet, he was so tall that he used to get away with it.It's actually mad that some lad who are huge height wise are useless I'm the air.... Just don't have the spring.... Gives us a different look to Charly. I like the way our team is built atm behind the striker. You have 3 guys that can play all across the front and adding a guy like this gives us another dimension. He will also be able to fill in at striker so he makes a lot of since. I would be pleased with him.![]()
