Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

We are going to need:

Virginia to leave - means we need another GK

Keane and Holgate to leave, means we need another centre back

Coleman and Young to leave, means we need another right back and left back

Doucoure to leave, means we need another midfielder

DCL to go, means we need another forward
Whether I think it’s the correct decision or not I think a couple on that list will stay . The potential rebuild is huge so if we can get cover for a couple of places by reduced short term contracts I think that could well happen .

I expect anywhere between 6-10 new players. 4-5 permanent, hopefully a couple of good free transfers and fill it up with loans.
I suspect that you are right.

I'd expect that we sign about 3-4 players for fees. I really hope that a couple of them are exciting attacking players. I anticipate that at least one will be an experienced player that Moyes has worked with before.

I've no doubt we will try to pick a couple of free transfers and augment the squad with loan signings .

Supposedly money is tight again and I've got a horrible feeling that any spending spree will be funded by the sale of Branthwaite.

Yeah will have a price he can go for but atleast seem to have more of a fight now to get top money for players again.

Money is relatively tight until end of June. Then there is more scope for is to spend.

Think we'll be spending a decent amount, not depending on a possible Branthwaite sale. If he's leaving, I expect that a large part of that sum will be reinvested.

Not sure she scores that goal v Bournemouth, you know the one that kept us up. I'd say that's a pretty significant contribution however bad we perceive him to be. Maybe the MOST significant contribution in our recent history
