Is he out of contract? Good player. Can chip in a few from midfield. Moyes knows him. Don’t see an issue at all if it’s not a massive wage.

Rigg is a left footer -- Armstrong a right footer.
Both have played ACM, CM and DM. Rigg has also played on both the right and (a couple of times, left).
While both are expected to end up as central midfielders -- each can be used in all three central midfield roles and with them being left or right sided -- would be a pair to mould into a long term midfield partnership.
This could be a very exciting long term signing.
To add to this, I would see Armstrong competing with Garner + Rigg competing with Iroegbunam.

That’s 9 players needed. Hopefully we sign Alcaraz that’s great but still this is a massive summer, we are going to have to hope TFG pump a lot of money in as I think we are looking about 150-200m’s worth of players.
