Great Dane

Player Valuation: £15m
According to the Independant WHU willl make a bid of £20 m. for AJ. If this turns out to be true I would take it.

For £20 m. we could get Nugent and Darren Bent and still have money left.

hmm... its all going a bit silly now.

Believe it when I see it, but... and if it is true and we could sign nugent AND bent with the money... would we take it?

Christ, decisions decisions....

Yeah I would take the money - in Vaughan I believe we have the ultimate striker. He has everything pace, strength, powerful in the air, can be played as a target man but also as the striker sniffing around the back four for the through-ball.

20 million i would take it!! Get them to put Asthon as part of the deal then buy Nugent and Bent or maybe Defoe with the money!! (y)

So are we now a selling club again guys? Thing is we don't need to sell AJ, we don't need to buy Nugent and Bent. Those guys could prove to be white elephants, whereas at the moment we know that AJ is doing the business for the blues.

Spot on Ghost. We're not in a position where we need to sell. And I honestly don't think there's another available striker out there who is better than AJ. Anyway, it's probably just more paper bull [Poor language removed]

If he is not happy and wants to move back to London and West Ham offer 20 million, then yeah i would take it!! Bent has scored 15 prem goals this season for a team that went down and was injuried! More than AJ!!!

Forced by Everton to say he is happy! The report says his wife is unsettled on Merseyside and is keen to move back to London.

I don't think so.

And who cares about his wife? I certainly don't, as long as he's happy here.

I don't know why this story is still going on. Wyness and Moyes have both said this week that he's not leaving. Wyness even said that Egg head isn't interested in bidding. Lazy journalism if you ask me

So legendefc we are a selling club then?

Tell you what next game the whole of the Park End should turn their backs to the pitch, bend over and take it up the ass!!!@!@!

Ehmm that would be an interesting spectacle.:P

GoD are you saying that EFC should turn down any offer for any player from any club no matter what that offer is? Every player at every club has a price to the right bidder, to say it would turn us into a selling club is way over the top. TBH £20mil for AJ is about £5 mil above his market value and if by any chance it was true would have to be considered.

Rodders, you may not care about his wife and family but he will, that said I do believe that the whole story is crap.

Well think of it like this, is Bent or Nugent better than AJ?

Liverpool made the mistake of letting their best striker go. Man U lost Van Nistelrooy without replacing him and that's why they never won the treble, and they only won the Premiership cos they were incredibly lucky with injuries.

By selling our best players, we are a selling club - not a club going forward.
