My guess is the left and right forward spots will be very free and thus Lookman and Sandro will play both sides as will Gylfi. Also Sandro will definitely see time as just a center forward. Given we have hopefully 50 or so games we need options and Gylfi improves those majorly

As @orly alluded to, Lookman looks to me to be a potential star in the making. He really needs game time and signing Sigurdsson for 50mil pretty much makes him undroppable. This means Sigurdsson plays ahead of Lookman and Lookman will need to push him our in a limited amount of games in the coming seasons...

Meanwhile the 50mil could be spent on an area where we actually need improvement.

Sigurdsson is a playmaker.

Lookman is a forward.

They play different positions. They offer different things.

If you don't think we need improvement on the creative side Zat, you're deluded. Sorry mate.

That's 12 players for 5 positions.

Currently we have 10 players for 3 positions...
 

the problem here is tis transfer has taken too damn long and people have began finding reasons it shouldn't happen. It'll come full circle and everyone will be crying out for him in a couple of weeks.
