Swansea should just accept our fair offer or they can risk not having anytime to buy new players.

Stand-off according to sky we haven't put in a better offer and they won't budge on the price

This will rumble on till late in the Transfer window by the looks of it

Here's Gylfi driving:

Classic case of having your cake and eating it, in that Swansea are both desperate and greedy. They want 50 mil, right now, but the whole world knows the don´t have a pot to piss in short of what Everton give them. Starting to look pathetic. If they´re still holding out for 50 mil we should leave it for now. We can do without Sig, but we can´t do without a centre forward.

Mate can't blame them for their valuation if that's what they think his worth, its up to us to pony up or leave it

Its pissing me off now i'd rather look else where and let them have an in unhappy player on their books

Koeman said that he hoped for good news today. Not sure Sky know any different.

To put this into a bit of context.

Profit made on Lukaku = £47 million.

That means the club aren't actually making a significant net spend on Sigurdsson.

It is who is signed next that will put the club into net spend territory in conjunction to who was already signed.

The fact that we're essentially only spending the profit of Lukaku on Sigurdsson means its not that big an issue for me.

Provided we're not routinely spending big money on 25 year old + players with no resale value - when not clearly affordable by the club. Means its will not be an issue.

The club bought Keane and Pickford as big spending early on. Along with Sandro and Danny Klaassen. All under 25.

If the club buy one or two young players after Sigurdsson : acquiring another 28-30 year old will not be an issue

Everton can afford it.

What claptrap Damo, the club has spent the Lukaku money already, a player we made a profit on of 62m on, leave the net spend to the experts please.

We are currently 00000 with regards "net spend".

Unless the report says "according to Everton spokesperson", it's all bull. They're just trying to explain the delay like everyone else.

Of course they´re entitled to ask what they want, but since that clearly exceeds our valuation I suggest we move on. Spend the money on a striker.

I´ve been to Iceland. It´s cold and dreary. The chicks are not hot, they look like white haired ghouls. Bored with Sigurdsson already. Let´s move on please.
