- A reduction in temp/perma bans and an increase in thread bans/public mocking by the mods for being a tit (it's ace when this happens)

We don't ban many permanently really, but I'm all for public mocking.
This will be possible on the next post ratings replacement.
More ideas on what that capability looks like would be good.
The new system will by default limit how much neg rep you can spread, with that limit being different dependent on various factors.

Yep @Boss_Blue definitely being able to view how many "points" you are on. You could save them up for months and then go in two-footed in a incredibly satisfactory way. Or just behave normally I suppose.
