Electric car advice

Double tax
seeing as push bikes are being penalised for road use, can we even up the score some? helmets required by law for all travelling in cars? and absurd high charges for off road cars? if mountain bikes are fair game for the road tax man, can the sloane rangers be hammered for having the capacity to besmirch the off road scene? I'd have a mighty good laugh if lady penelope was looking at £100k 'off road tax capability fee' for her 4x4.

£50 per year less than a £1 a week plus insurance plus speeding fines plus a passed test like other road users if they use cycle paths which 98% do not they should still pay all above imo..
I would happily pay £50 a year if it meant there were cycle paths/lanes I could actually use.

Tax on vehicle mass.

£50 for my 11kg bike is about £4.50 per kg. A 2500kg Range Rover could be around £11k.
