In my book there was no official league fixtures in 1945 ......any games would have been wartime fixtures on a ad hoc basis of players with players from mixed teams rember the war in the Pacific had not ended against Japan - the season started in 1946......0n an official basis many top footballers were PE instructors yet some were posted abroad .......It was the 6th Joey, a game was played on the 3rd!!!!
