why the hell would we get rid of aj ?????

valente
carsley
wessels

thats perhaps the order of the next 3 players id ship out.

then either hibbert or neville.

note * personally im sick of the infatuation with carsley.yes granted he is a player that gives his all , hes a good pro and also a very very down to earth nice bloke., but then again carsleys quality isnt enough to win a cup is it ? hes old he doesnt offer much offencive wise and playing him forces a negative formation in my opinion.

anyone would think hes bloody makelele the way moyes bangs on about keeping him.

good but not good enough ,hes had his time , move on and get a better replacement.

also i think a move to derby would be good for carsleys career.becouse surley we need a better cm than him if we wont to progress next season , meaning he has to play back up.

or is moyes actually planning to use him as first choice again ? surely not !
theres a fine line between loyalty and lack of ambition.

£20m would be just about adequate assuming the squad is not depleted in any way. I would say that £30m would be enough to make a serious change to our playing style. But funding that is hardly a simple affair.

With reference to AJ, if he was sold then that money would need to go towards the purchase of another striker. I fancy Owen (in footballing terms) and believe if we made a concerted effort to unsettle him, that he would move down here. He's never been comfortable at Newcastle, and the prospect of playing up front with Yak could be an attractive one.

don't tell me the sight of those tight little buns in a pair of our new '80's style short shorts wouldn't have you heading off to garlands after every game :D
owen would be a great coup, but reckon his wages would probably be too high, he could be usefull in other ways too though, after all he could afford to build us a stadium himself.

so thats 20mill plus a.j. = 27 maybe
get rid of the lying dutchman = 25 left
ushited win c.l. we may have some money due for coleens bloke
or is it 20 and thats final ?
seriously though b.k. has been courting some seriously rich people, so rich they have more money than fowlup, has he not managed to get anything out of any of them ? or are they all just liggers after a match ticket while they're up here to see the beatles museum.

20 mill is nowhere near enough if we are to sign some of the lads that have been talked about on here for the last few weeks.

Well looks like AJ is staying as he has just said on the OS their is no truth in the story he wants to leave, Moyes has also said on the OS that Carsley will still be here next year.

Here's an idea on how to give Moyes more cash..stop this stupid [Poor language removed] Kirkby nonsense that is now obviously going to imapct on the transfer money he has. If that board are intent on flogging anything with value to fund it, and have now given assurances that they most definitely are NOT open to investment, it stands to reason Moyes will have a few £M from the tv money pot + whatever Premier placement cash + what he can do by way of selling to buy.

If that's good enough for David Moyes after sweating his bollocks off for the past 6 years then he's not half the man I think he is.

Everton boss David Moyes expects a minimum £20m summer transfer kitty. (News of the World)

That doesn't say he has or has been told he is getting £20m. It just says he expects to have a minimum of £20m to spend.
The figure appears in the NOTW ffs. I wouldn't even wipe my arse on that paper!

I don't think Moyes or BK know how much there is to spend yet. I don't think they will know until we get our final position in the league. Even then I really really would be shocked to read what that figure is in the paper. It is just not the way Everton does business. Which is a good thing :)

AJ does look to be staying. No bad thing I quite like what he does for us, but I do feel the Yak and AJ are now getting the same levels of service from midfield that Beattie used to get. i.e. long punts that are over hit, balls that are hit in to wide channels with no support etc. It's not been pretty these past 4-5 games in the midfield. I can't help but feeling a bit sorry for them both.
Seeing Yakubu by our corner flag trying to win the ball as our midfield was awol was incredibly frustrating today. He also had 3 balls to knock in from the left which he smashed out of play everytime by over hitting it. Where was the midfield to do that for him.

Carsley is the dynamo of our team, even though some people can't stand his distribution, his work rate and tackling are vital for how we play. He is the difference between a long range chance or patient build up and an all out onslaught on our goal. I'd give him another 2 years without thinking about it. We can still buy in a replacement and weave him in with Cars to show him the ropes.

carsley is the dynimo of our team.

God [Poor language removed] help us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought he was excellent today. Really played very well against a player that was impossible for him to beat in the air.

£20 mill kitty is good IMO.

All the players he's linked/looked at are all around the 5-7mill mark (Arshaven, Dudu, Cana, Fernandes *hopefully*) so he can bag a few of them.

Kenwright will pull something out of the bag though. Who knew that we could get the Yak for 11.5 mill?

The situation needs to be assessed again come the end of the season, because it will all depend on whether we get European Football. If we don't, i wouldn't be worried about the quality of players coming in, but the quality of players leaving.

Arteta, Lescott and probably Timmy too. If were not in Europe next year, you can be sure that bigger fish will come sniffing around, i'd be very worried about those 3 in particular if that were to happen. Hopefully we won't be in that situation in a fortnights time.

If we do get Europe then surely BK has to back Moyes in the market. I think we need another proper out and out winger, Duff/Kewell/Lennon. One of those would be brilliant. A striker is a must if we are to persist with the Moyes tactics of late, very route one, plenty of balls into the box, and if that is the tactic for next year, then we need to plan for it. i think we need a Santa Cruz/Crouch/Ashton type player to play alongside the Yak. If we got one of those and one of the wingers i would be satisfied for this summer.

But as i said, were not in the clear just yet so lets reserve such transfer talk till the end of the season, by then we'll know whether we are looking at Crouch/Santa Cruz/Ashton or Kamara/Lita/Mpenza.

They do expect wages too though!

£20M warchest gets you two decent players at todays rate of transfer and wages.

Possibly...but then again that might not include wages and might be just to bag the player.

With contant revenue coming into the club, the wages get paid on an ongoing basis rather than having 20mill to pay wages for the season
