Remember being furious about this at the time, particularly because a lot of Belgian media and other players were really hyping him up as a really special talent which had everyone wetting themselves.
Obviously he didn't turn out to very good that after all so it's no loss at all really from our point of view looking back, the same thing in regards to Leroy Fer. Those two sagas are still stonewall examples though of why Kenwright should have no place at this club in any official role. Man has been nothing but a noose around the club's neck for years whilst he's had control of our business dealings. So glad those days finally appear to be over.
