I think our voting system is so wrong. The SNP, a party only a minority of the Union can vote for have had a massive impact on the result of this election. It should not be right that the Scots (and Welsh/Northern Irish) can vote for their own parties yet at the same time could choose to vote for Con/Lab, yet we couldn't vote for one of their parties.

UKIP won 12% of the vote, more votes than the LibDems and SNP combined and yet they only got 1 seat (thank God). It is something that needs to be addressed IMO.

I know a lot of you on here don't like ukip, but 4 million people voted for them. They deserve more seats.

Well they certainly deserve to be regarded by the BBC etc as representing the third largest group of people in the UK electorate.......

In fact they represent more people than the entire electorate of Wales......

I'm going to level with you, I don't 'get' partisanship, so I may be missing something - but you do genuinely sound deranged.

Having political allegiances is fine and normal, but sometimes it doesn't hurt to take a step back and form rational opinions.
Labour fought as dirty as the Tories, yeah ok, ofcourse they did, nothing personal Mrk, you are just chatting Tory bias crap.

Remember this is just one Murdoch paper that happens to sell more copies than any other.

http://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/may/06/sun-ed-miliband-neil-kinnock-murdoch-labour

Research by the Media Standards Trust found that 95% of the leader columns in Rupert Murdoch’s tabloid were anti-Labour ahead of Thursday’s general election, compared with 79% that were judged anti-Labour in 1992.

Just like we had here in Queensland ( yeah I know...But. ) all the people I spoke to had it that the Liberals ( think tory ) would get their backsides kicked. But the polls and all the commentators were saying that yes they would get a kicking but would get over the line OK...and on to last night.

Q) With all the high tech stuff how did they get it so wrong

A) Could it be that the only poll that counts is the one on the day

and again, how could the experts not pick it
