Yes, I can see that.

In the States people know exactly what Fox is and it is easily avoided.

It is totally different over here where the right wing media is insidious and its subliminal message assaults you with anti progressive propaganda every time you pass a newspaper stand.

In his early years Blair was a superb politician, roped the middle earners in by making sure there was something in it for them so they weren't expected to vote for something which though "right", didn't directly benefit them.

It's a nice idea to expect people to vote for something which is for the common good, but most people need a little bribe to help them along the way.
 

It's almost alright for you lot, your families will have voted Labour probably so you can share the disappointment. Mine are all Tory/UKIP and they're bloody over the moon right now. I don't think I can take any more gloating especially from my working class Tory mother who actually benefits from the very things the Tories will rip apart over the next five years.

I wish I was Scottish. I'd have voted yes to leave this miserable conservative nation.

The cuts will come hard, 12bn+ in Welfare (and others due to the 8bn NHS promise). There's now nothing anybody can do about it. How depressing. We will see plenty of inner city riots over the next 5 years, that's for sure.

I truly wish it was alright for us up north, squire. Unfortunately, the pot we up here piddle in is the same one that you southerners do - the same one that they want to deny us of. I'm sure yer mam'll be forced into realising the error of her ways soon enough.....Them barstewards are gonna go the whole hog now.

Good sort, palace fans, in my book at least. The media powers that be would let you believe the shoite were the first to protest about pricing......
