7th-9th
Out the cups early
Slightly better style of football than last season
Exactly the same amount of points as last season
Hard to beat
Many games with just one goal in it

Benitez does enough for the board to survive another season.

I’m not happy with 10-13th, but if the benefit is, we lose an extra £350k a week off the books next summer and we can have a crack at spending again, I’ll take 100%.

But this season, I expect will be one moody, disappointing season. A season where fans are all returning, matched with the most underwhelmed time in the last 10 years l.

Great being a blue isn’t it? Oh and if you’re wondering if I’ll be spending all me spare money going to Leeds, Brighton in a fortnight, you bet I will.

…I agree, a couple of more progressive rather than ‘safe’ signings will brighten the outlook. Tend to have a good idea of standings after 10 games & the 20 points at Christmas benchmark is critical.

Somewhere around 9th-13th, probably 10th again... but we'll win both domestic Cups Seriously though, I view the coming season as a 'start sorting out the mess' exercise, and I don't expect too much to get excited about as far as our league position is concerned.
