2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)


I'm not sure that the result today is quite as bad as some are suggesting. Southampton will get max 4 points in their next 7 games. Ipswich at a push will get 7 in their next 7. So those two we don't need to worry about too much. Wolves, I would expect them to pick up points at some point but they have to play us which will be a 6 pointer. But Leicester also have tough fixtures coming up.

Make no mistake the result today was rubbish but despite that and our soon to be upcoming tough fixtures, we should still be clear by January I would imagine unless if there is a complete collapse.
 

There's nothing to worry about. We're 4 points above relegation zone. We've made great progress compared to the last 2 seasons around the same time.

Leicester are actually above this club in the table...

Ipswich and Southampton may be cut adrift but there are three relegation spots in play.

Hopefully Palace hold on to this 2-2 as not good news if Wolves win with Southampton for them at home next week.
