2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Agreed, if we get 4/5 points in our next 7 games that takes us to 15/16 points at the halfway mark. Duplicate that for the other 19 then we're safe.
I actually think we'll improve second half of a season, we had some horrendous freak games (like Bournemouth) which I don't think will be duplicated.
With the new owners coming in also then we can hopefully strengthen a couple of positions in Jan.
Almost there 😊

Great win, can't fault anything tonight and the bonus is it makes it like Sunday never happened with the GD drop from that being cancelled out.

Still not out of the woods by a long way. Wolves will surely sack Gary O'Neill soon and their next three are West Ham, Ipswich and Leicester so lose the next three and they won't be far off.

Need to start getting a decent run at home again. I know it's unbeaten since August which is a decent achievement but the performances haven't been great and it's been too many draws against beatable opposition so hopefully tonight is the turning point in mentality.

It will need to be with those who are visiting in the next month.

He'll be sold in January anyway it's looking like.

They've lost some talented players Wolves. You cant do that and not pay the penalty if you're a club like them.
Think in a similar situation to us cant really spend without taking a chance to wait on a sale in the summer.

Ideally Wolves draw those 3 games. Keeps them behind us and also means the other teams around us don’t profit much either.

If they're smart they'll put the feelers out to likes of Moyes and Potter over the weekend.

O'Neil gets one last chance at West Ham on Monday. He can have no complaints if he loses that and then gets sacked especially as Lopetegui probably won't even make that game judging by the reports today.

So first two games for next Wolves manager would be Ipswich at home and Leicester away. Feels like 4 points with a new manager bounce which we've seen countless times so bit too early to write them totally off.

I wasn’t sure on Wolves tonight. I was quite confident we were going to win. The way i looked at it was they have a lot of foreign players and they wouldn’t want to be out there in the cold, wind and rain. Low and behold I feel like I was right because they didn’t really do much at all.

Those next games are must wins for all three teams it will not be easy.
They have some good players but that defending was poor they didn't have s clue.
That manager can't last going off last night.
