Wolves have Liverpool and Man. City up next so they'll be down here for a while.

Do think that midfield of Lemina-Gomes-Andre is pretty good and Cunha is a difference maker (like Ndiaye) in final third so they need a run of 5-6 games where they're playing bottom half and then you judge whether they're a serious relegation contender or not.

Big 6 games coming up. Winnable games at Goodison and aways to Ipswich and Southampton so we'll know by the mid November break how desperate things are or not e.g. FSW/Lampard desperation.

Hinging our entire premier league existence on one player being back is extremely dangerous in my opinion. What if he gets injured again? What if he’s not the same player? We need a manager who can get results. It’s painfully obvious that the current manager cannot get results unless conditions are completely perfect.

They'll be clean sheets with Branthwaite back, last season was evidence enough. I think with him at one end and Ndiaye at the other there's enough to get 1-0s and 1-1s v most of the bottom half.

Will struggle to get much off others while the midfield remains so disjointed with all the injuries and players absent for other reasons.

December looks a horrid month. Really need to be on about 15 points by then otherwise you run the risk of being significantly adrift if you lose 3 or 4 on the bounce.

That means four wins and two draws from next seven fixtures.....hmmmm.
