2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

No not for me, I’m not bothered about Sky but I do like a bit of last day drama, and there won’t be any this year. Focus is always still on Everton but it’s good to see the absolute unparalleled joy and equal measure despair of other supporters as I’m mean 😄

The drama will be outside the Premier League mate, which will be good for the other leagues.

I don`t think there`s many blues, who enjoy last day having to win games to stay up !!!

Think of poor old @matty1878 , he usually has to go into recovery afterwards for months.

You do know it’s not mutually exclusive to enjoy the wonderful job Moyes is doing and also admit that we wouldn’t have gone down under Dyche. People trying to convince themselves he might have lost every game. The bottom 3 are rank, we weren’t going down, it just looks stupid to try and convince yourself otherwise just because you don’t like him. Ipswich are on 20 points ffs.

I think with the benefit of hindsight now, given the lack of points progress any of the current bottom three have made, it is likely we would have pulled away at a similar points to games ratio that Dyche had achieved up to the point, so I think we would have been safe - we just would not have had the level of comfort in doing so and the slightly more cohesive style of football that Moyes has brought in.
We would have been miserable under Dyche, no matter where we finished. It was just a case of how miserable.

Yeah I certainly don’t enjoy it when we’re involved. It’s so stressful. I don’t really look at the Championship. It’s irrelevant to us as a club.

2-3 months ago we all thought we was in a relegation battle. Now hopefully we will finish above West ham, Man Utd and Spurs
yep. 14th from were we could have been the match before leicester is some turnaround. We could even be 13th today. I personally hate the way the Job Moyes has done keeps on getting a link to it is half because of the way Dyche set us up defensive wise, and what he left etc. Its all on Moyes and the staff/team what hes done. no one else

Sean Dyche would only gain 4 points since Jan 5th too.
We would still in the relegation fight.

I agree. He would’ve made sure to tell the world that we were still in it any chance he got as well, and reinforce how bad it was before he got here 2 years ago. Thank god his toxic mentality is no longer infecting this football club.
