2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

The title race is decided, the relegation spots are decided.

I`m absolutely made up that Sky and the rest of them won`t have their big day out come the last game of the season.

Maybe they`ll focus on the lower leagues, if their promotions and relegations aren`t decided and give them a bit more attention for a change ?
It will all be about the Champions League places.

You do know it’s not mutually exclusive to enjoy the wonderful job Moyes is doing and also admit that we wouldn’t have gone down under Dyche. People trying to convince themselves he might have lost every game. The bottom 3 are rank, we weren’t going down, it just looks stupid to try and convince yourself otherwise just because you don’t like him. Ipswich are on 20 points ffs.
It's amazing then that on the day that Dyche left we were just one point ahead of rank Ipswich.

I just can’t believe how WONDERFUL it is to be at this stage of the season and be wholly relaxed. To enjoy even the idea of football.

To be sure, it’s terrible that that’s the case, and this should be the last time for years and years to come fans of a club of our stature should be thinking this way. But just for now - just for now - it’s wonderful.

Exactly. The argument that we wouldn’t have gone down because the bottom 3 were so bad ignores the fact that Sean Dyche had shown absolutely nothing to suggest we were much better than them. In fact, one of those teams has only won 3 games against prem opposition in all competitions this season and two of them were against Sean Dyche’s Everton. The fella was an absolute bum and we’d be looking over our shoulders right now if he was still stinking our dugout out.

Are you Joking.. We requested playing our last home game on the 2nd last day to avoid it clashing with any other last day stories, it was granted meaning that Liverpool's last game will be at Anfield, although the title will be wrapped up weeks before then it will still make for a jizz fest the like of which you'll never have witnessed before on sky. I'll probably just bin off football that day altogether we'll have had our story the week previous.

Yeah. The season finishes the week before for me. Obviously hope we beat Newcastle but I’ll be on a football media blackout from as soon as the dust has died down following the Southampton game.

Is all about the mini league between us spurs wolves spurs west ham united be great if we can finish above them all. Just want a real push till the end of the season, also be great to stop newcastle getting chanps league last game of the season

Wolves will be interesting one next season imo.

I had them down under Periera as just having new manager bounce and they'd go back to losing with Cunha out. Instead they've won four straight prem games with him playing all of twenty minutes.

Guessing the January signings have been pretty good? The CB they got in looks decent.
Was he the one we didn't want?
