2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Few results for Ipswich we will be in the bottom three. Yoh would be foolish to believe they are not looking at options to replace him now.
I'd never claim they wouldn't;t be doing that. I said earlier that if Everton become cemented into the bottom three then they'll act for sure. But I can definitely see them riding out any situation where Everton for a week or so fall into the bottom three.

The thing with us is that we never anticipate a good run, we expect the worst outcome. On the run in last season we had some tough fixtures but won 5 of our last 8 games.

Only liverpool was the stand out tough fixture in that run.
Forest
Liverpool
Brentford
Luton
Sheff utd.
Bar liverpool the rest were in the bottom 7.
We've played forest and brentford already at home. Last seasons 6 points against them has already now become 1. One being against a 10 man side for so long. Both games. Goals scored. 0. Zip. Zero.

We cant score dave.

We faced Chelsea and Arsenal too!

Because the run of wins started before we played them but also included the win against Liverpool.

Not sure where I've gone wrong here? 🤷‍♂️

You stated we had tough fixtures. We lost two of the tough ones. And won one. The rest were in the bottom 7.
I thought it was straight forward.

Still, back to now. We cant score.

Last April was a blip. We barely won a game in any other month of the entire year, but managed four in April alone. Statistically, an anomaly.

Anyone relying on that repeating itself is in for a terrible shock.

Yep. It’s why people who expected us to equal or better our points tally (deduction excluded) from last season were always going to be well off.
