2024/25 Relegation Thread

I mean we've scored 4 more goals than you so......
If Everton are your benchmark you are struggling.

Everton lost their first 4 games and are improving.

I think Everton will stay up - just.

At least Everton are organised and able to grind out results. Don't get me wrong it's terrible to watch but I don't think Leicester have that ability. They are shambolic.

Can that change ? Of course, especially if you change manager and buy a new defence. I used to think Justin James was a decent player - he was terrible last night. Perhaps he's sat next to Faes for too long.

They did although it’s been some turnover of players . Plus , as has been discussed, for all the criticism and turning up of collective noses here Wood is a decent enough striker ,
I am sure Wood will score 10+ goals again this season to making it 6, pretty solid for playing under Dyche and Nuno, whose teams barely score more than 40 goals a season.

You honestly think that Vardy is going to keep you up?

Mavidi , Fatawa , Winks all very decent ......in the Championship.

I watched the game last night and v Everton and I'm afraid to say that Leicester are shambolic.

That back 4 is hilarious.

The midfield and wide attackers admittedly have some flair but I'm shocked how porous the midfield is.

And attack wise you have a 37year old Vardy and what else ?

Sorry mate but I would get very surprised if you stayed up. Your smart lawyers can't help you this time.
I'd have that Mavidi tomorrow...he's one of the players that gives them a fighting chance.

Said the other day at forest he averages something like 1 in 2 , I imagine the last we had with that record was lukaku

Ofc that goal against Palace was a gk mistake. DCL often makes a lot right till the finishing.

I just read Forest are 3rd at shots on target and shots in total this season, seems as they use their low possession pretty well. They had 2% more possession than us, barely higher passing accuracy and about 400 more passes in 8 games, all are bottom 3 or 5 in the league.

They seem to use possession well unlike us playing direct football.

Quite surprised what a job that manager he done actually, wasn’t really convinced on him but seems he’s settled well and is getting a tune out of his squad .

Oh yeah I fully expect you to stay up comfortably this season. The benchmark isn't Everton but if we can score more goals than the others down there we at least have a chance of staying up. The standard is atrocious.

Justin has been really poor this season, had a couple of bad injuries over the past couple of seasons and doesn't look anything like the player he was. We do have a seriously good goalkeeper though, no doubt Chelsea will snap him up in January though
