2024/25 Relegation Thread

Wasn't worried about today one bit when I saw Liam Delap wasn't playing. Is he suspended or injured.

Ipswich on course for 0 home wins from 9 and they have Chelsea next, you don't stay up with that sort of record.

Stay what you like about this club in relegation battles but always manage to dig out vital victories at Goodison when it's really really needed.

Mid 30s for safety?

If Newcastle go for it in the second half, this could leave some scars.

Then, just hoping the new manager bounce at Wolves and Soton is minimal.

Then relying on us grinding 5 wins and 5 draws for 35pts. Doable, right?
Southampton would have 2 points if it wasnt for the match against us that they should have lost. They arent even worth thinking about anymore.

To be honest, I would guess 31-32 points would be safe at this point.

Delap is suspended. Believe he got a yellow for the ruckus at wolves

My only concern with Southampton was the manager refusing to change hurt them. Maybe a more pragmatic manager could string a few results together.

Would be nice if it is around 32 points, provided we get them of course

All about mindset, Forest under Nuno 3rd in the PL as it stands and 2-0 up at Brentford which could be their 9th win of the season already.... No talk of relegation whatsoever at the start of the season...

Sean Dyche talking about relegation from the very get go sitting 3 points above the dropzone only won 3 games all season.

Southampton have 5 points from 16.
There is no way they will more then 20 points more and even that could be generous

Not looking forward to the Forest game. They are flying and going to Brentford and winning as comfortably as they are is not an easy thing. With the pace they have Dyche will put out a very pragmatic team for that imo e.g. Harrison starting.

Losing to them would not be good at all if the next two don't go great and January is a very tricky month.

Bit silly from him given that was after the final whistle and they subbed him.

Him and Hutchinson are basically everything for them in final third so they won't be getting many points if either miss spells in the second half of the season.
Tbh I think I saw something that he was only booked because there was a ruckus between Wolves players and the Ipswich bench, and the refs say in their 'rules' that two players must be booked if there's a row. Delap didn't do much from what I've heard
