2024/25 Relegation Thread

Leicester and Southampton are useless and have sacked useless managers to be replaced by useless managers (at this level). They're both down.

Ipswich and Wolves both showing signs of life. Ipswich have been competitive but struggled to get wins (first home win the other week) and Wolves a bit of a new manager bounce but still having to play catch up from a terrible start. We've got to be finishing above one of them with Moyes back.
Not without significantly improving the quality in the squad, and with thelwell directing our business, I don't have trust that we will get the players we need.

It’s a genuine miracle we aren’t bottom three currently

Somehow we keep getting gifted chances to dig ourselves out of the dirt

And we keep spurning them
I fear the day we drop into the bottom three will be the last one.

And nobody could say it wouldn't be richly deserved.

We need half a new team by the end of the month. Otherwise, we'll be looking for a new manager by March.

We have to hope:
Wolves/Leicester/Ipswich stay crap
Garner and Tim Iro. make a difference to the team on their return.
We bring in 2 players capable of making the first team and can score actual goals.

Of course we don’t get any manager bounce like Wolves and Leicester
Perhaps because dyche wasn't that bad to start with, at least for what we are trying to do which is surviving. Dyche has done it 2 seasons consecutively without any real budget and a depleted squad with no creativity. We need new players now...and hope that moyes can find a way to win football matches.

Dyche was horrific and absolutely had to go.

But we desperately need new players.

Don't care about the poor football. We cannot be relegated this season...sacking dyche is a big call, especially to bring moyes which is not a millions miles away in term of playing beautiful football. To be fair I saw a lot more efforts tonight at least to try to get a results from most of the players which you would expect with any change of manager.
