2024/25 Relegation Thread

Which Brighton are we getting next week?

I watched them against Ipswich this week and they were outclassed for most of that game and looked clueless and slow.

If we get that version we're in business.
This is Everton we’re talking about fella. You just know what Brighton will turn up next week.

Were well on top in second half and likes of Baleba and Mitoma are in top form.

Dyche always seemed to get results against them down there. Think Moyes will just go for very low block and get a point which is fine after today.

I was going to say I'd have preferred to have played them a few games ago in terms of their form. Been drifting a bit, but looked good v Arsenal and won last 3 scoring plenty.

They can be got at but it will be significantly harder than today.

Think Branthwaite scored off a set piece down there last season so that's one way to hurt them.

Have to say that 1-5 remains one of the most bizarre games I've seen in recent years. Scored after 30 seconds and then played like an Everton side from the 80s for the rest of the match.

In the end had to win that game aswell to stay up. Pretty sure Brighton then won at Arsenal 3-0 about a week later.

Generally got a good record at the Amex since they came up so I think that always plays a part in a mentality in the build up. Moyes also won there with West Ham last season.

We've done ok down there in the last few seasons though...2 wins and 2 draws in our last 4 visits.

Yeah it's not an away ground you just write off like the club seemingly does going to Old Trafford most seasons for instance. Or Bournemouth where it's a horrendous record since they became a premier league side.

Good record at Brighton and Palace so would be brilliant to get a rare away win and move properly away from the bottom 3/4.
