Harsh, that - on the back of 45 minutes of very pleasurable football in which they didn’t concede a single goal to Tottenham.Russell Martin sacked
Where on earth do Southampton turn to now?
I'm sure he'll be gunning for the Wolves job...
They actually could do with someone like him to give them a chance of staying up. They need someone in to stop them being a calamity in defenceI'm sure he'll be gunning for the Wolves job...
Aren't they his boyhood club?
I'm sure Gravy Stains would just be happy to be employed by a PL club again...They actually could do with someone like him to give them a chance of staying up. They need someone in to stop them being a calamity in defence
Might have had his eye on the Bayern job.Mr won’t change his style to try stay up got sacked? I am shooketh
If that's the case, then his plan clearly backfired, because I don't see a club like Bayern Munich knocking on his door anytime soon, mate.Fully believe Russel Martin was doing a Vincent Kompany and coaching a team with an eye for his next job not his current one. Very much tried to force a style of play to show clubs what he could do if only he had better players... Than playing to his teams strengths.
Better staying were he is they are doing OK and a far bigger clubDanny Rohl from Sheff Wed linked with Southampton job
To be fair, I didn’t see a club like Bayern Munich knocking on Vincent Kompany’s door after he relegated Burnley, either. If that's the case, then his plan clearly backfired, because I don't see a club like Bayern Munich knocking on his door anytime soon, mate.
