Is the planned protest in the 27th minute on Monday a good idea ?

I think there is a huge undercurrent of "the peoples club" and the belief that we are better than other teams. Charity work, not being kopites etc etc.
All that leads to is the fact we get treated to this dross, the board laughs at the fans, we have to watch the crap on the pitch AND we have a Liverpool legend as manager and we go cap in hand to Goodison and be the great little peoples club fans and accept it.

Well no more. Why don't we demand more? This is an historic club with a rich history and it's all based on the fans. Not mega rich tycoons who don't know what the offside rule is. I think it's time drop the nice "please sir can i have some more" attitude and demand more.

He has his fans, he has his apologists but we have a Liverpool manager in charge. Would LFC ever do that? no chance.

I'm not the most die hard blue in the world but FFS this club is an utter joke and you get people saying we should put up with it. Some things are worth fighting for. Don't fight for the players or the board, fight and protest because this is Everton. that name used to mean something.

The one thing I can’t knock the kopites on is their unwavering belief that they should be the best and the biggest and how they’ve always demanded it from the club over the decades even if it boarders on the delusional at times, if that’s kopite behaviour then I’m for it. Bout time our fanbase had a bit of belief and self respect
We should be the same as Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City. It should be all about achieving success and if anything stops that it needs to be changed.

It’s a tricky one but I have to say no. I’m not having a go at fans doing this , I respect them for doing it. My reasons for no are:

I believe voting with your wallet is the best way to show dissatisfaction although that’s tricky too with already paid season tickets. Empty seats from the start might be a stronger message but again you lose money.

The walk out will create a atmosphere, with those doing it seen as the bad guy. We know how manipulative people can be. Which leads on to...

Should we lose it will play into the clubs hands in terms of PR and those who are already mocking it. You’re the bad supporter, you’re the problem and so on. The media allies in particular will have easy ammunition for their opinion pieces.

And that will go on and on, results may pick up after a while, some anger may subside and on we go into the circle of monotonous.

A friggin mess all round. :-(

I’d say yeah but Arsenal bottle it against a hostile crowd so we could do with the crowd on our side, save it til Leicester or whoever we face after

The happy clappers moaning about these protests are part of the problem. They'll still be moaning about the "wools" and "kopite behaviour" years from now when we're in league two. All because some of us won't just blindly accept this crap anymore. "What do ya mean this isn't good enough?! Take it on the chin and move on lad, so what if we've lost 6-0 at home to Accrington Stanley, we've no divine right to beat anyone. Just stop moaning and support the team! Bad fan you la......."
