Could it be missiles on the pitch? The "activists" will really bring attention to themselves that way. Ground closure, heavy fine, notoriety etc. I hate the breed called activists, political ones, eco ones, road blockers etc. If anyone wants to make a strong protest, stop buying season tickets. 20,000 crowds will really command the attention of this board whatever is left of it and the owner.
Yeah, that’ll work, don’t buy a season ticket, that’ll teach them. The flaw in that of course, is that there is a waiting list thousands long, so, don’t buy your season ticket, one of them will. The club don’t care who sits in the seat as long as someone does.

So has he only become inept in the last few months, as most were saying 18mths ago it was a master stroke in getting Ancelotti

Make no mistake he has made massive misjudgments over managers, the first was bowing down to pressure from fans who wanted Martinez out…

He has squandered vast amount of money on mediocre players, again nobody complained as most thought we will just keep buying till we get it right…

Then he goes and signs a man that most didn’t want….

And here we are

Not saying it is everybody is in this because of the manager, but believe the people who want him out have found a great platform

Mate, the anti-Benitez people really don't need a platform. Lots just want him out regardless. The only way he'll win them over is by genuinely showing he can take us forward. However, so much about the club's setup makes ANY manager being a success difficult and that's what we're trying to speak out about.

We are the Goodison gang
We spend our tanners, we don’t do banners,
We are the Goodison gang

It’s pissing rain on Goodison road
It’s much dryer here inside

We won’t join the walkout
but
we still want Kenwright out
We are the Goodison gang

William keeps up the constant repetition of the subject of this thread. It is past, gone, opinions vary about it, and it needs to be shut down in my 'umble opinion.
With all due respects to your opinion, i think the best way to shut this down, is by finally winning that elusive trophy! Maybe at the 27th minute of every home game, fans should up signs saying 27 years worth of no trophies. We have people who are almost approaching their 30's, and they haven't seen Everton win as much as a sausage! Drastic times call for drastic measures.

Looking forward to all of the proper fans who preferred to sit on their arses and chant for 30 seconds rather then stand up and say performances like today arent good enough.

Looking forward to all of the support their going to be showing this coming Sunday from their ivory towers.

I do think the thought leaders on this now need to put some time into thinking about how to improve engagement and widen appeal to the broader fanbase (as we’ve seen, far too many seem to find the idea of game-time protest objectionable - for reasons not fully clear to me as surely this is one of the more visible ways to enact change).

Few fans will disagree with the actual aims, but we need to think about how to bring about action that’s palatable for most. You’ll never please everyone but for real traction there needs to be careful consideration of how the messages are presented. I also saw some fans say “the aims aren’t clear” and “everyone wants different things”, even though the aims were quite clearly and concisely laid out online. That said, we have to acknowledge the reality that these people exist and we have to find a way to bring them on board as well
