Errrrrrrr, people are losing sight here.

It's not a protest against the manager. (though he's clearly throwing diesel in an already burning fire) It's a protest about accountability and communication. How are the club planning the be competative again. Lay it out, warts and all.

I have said before, a walk out doesn't work unless it's substantial numbers, 10k+, it's not going to happen. If the team is playing 'ok' then most will carry on watching. Just throw tennis balls on the pitch. It's visual and it actually stops play. Even better, do it just before KO for the next telivised game. People tuning in from all around the world and wondering what on earth is going on as stewards and ball boys spend 5 min clearing up so we can get started.

People are not paying between 30/50 quid to walk out. A cheap tennis ball is a quid. Easy.
The manager issue goes hand in hand with an owner who appointed this manager against the will of the fans, who knew best? Certainly not the owner.... look at the state of us with THE WORST manager in our history, that will be boosting his level of Kopite legend status.....

I'm not saying he isn't a problem.

But, a protest needs a focused target with clear goals. The group behind this have made it clear who they're targeting and what they hope to achieve.

If they expand that now to include the manager it gives the original target a bit of respite, and the whole thing just dies as a general moaning group. We have plenty of them.

Its an offence to throw missiles at a football match. Even though its harmless, it could end up being costly for the chosen scapegoat(s)
So, throw them before the teams come out.

It's probably still illegal, but nobody is placed in danger. They'd be hard pushed to hand out any meaningful sanctions and the KO still gets delayed.

Or, crack on with a few hundred heading for an early pint.

Benitez is a consequence of the owner's willingness to choose the dinosaur in the first place, and then for some unguided reason to feel he's still suitable.

What you're rightly saying is that the root of the problem lies much deeper and instead of sticking plaster we need to get to the actual catalyst.

That being said, a good start would be to jettison the waste of space.

The coincidence of the last game we won versus the protest is intriguing.
Perhaps the protest actually awakened the fans who remained in their seats and inspired a response from the club, manager and players.
So it’s not the FSW fault after all it’s the fans that are normally mute most of the game.

It’s never his fault
It’s never his fault
Our RS manager
it’s never his fault

The crowd reacted to a bit of Everton pressure on the itch and the 27 minute Moshiri supporters took umbrage and filed out with a gob on them...all 20 of them.

In the 28th minute to boot.

Couldn't organise a p%$£ up is a brewery.

If they'd targetted the real problem they'd have got more respect and support. The protest was so vague as to be of no merit.

"We've been without a tropohy for 27 years...whaa whaa whaa"....and then deserting the team to get a cup of tea.

These people are unworthy of Everton protestors of the past.

It was an embarrassing failure. Everyone knows it.

You backed Moshiri and that was a major mistake.

I was talking about you saying the crowd reacting to Everton on the pitch mate.

The crowd absolutley did not do that - the clappers reacted and targeted those who decided to join the protest, and the volume increased exponentially. Anyone saying otherwise is being disingenuous, but we've been through this before, you won't change you're spots, that's fine.

Regards to the succes or failure of the protest, I don't really care what you think, as it shone a light on the absolute shambles that is Everton fc.

It got people talking about the abject failure of the board of directors and made fellas I haven't seen open their gobs, stand up and make some noise (as I'll advised as that was) for the first time in donkeys years.

Would I do it again - in a heart beat.

If you got that reaction form the vast majority of the crowd then what does that tell you?

It tells me you got it massivley wrong. You failed to read the mood of the support and you offered them nothing cogent to get behind.

I hope your next effort is well thought out. For a kick off you need to target Moshiri - HE is the problem. If you did that you'd get traction. If you dont you're an irrelevance as a group.
