A lot of people are angry with benitez' appointment, and that's fair enough. I was one of those prepared to get behind him, but I think the real anger lies with the fact our board came to the decision to hire him in the first place. It screams of 'we don't care what the fans think, and we don't give a cr@p either.'

I think this protest would still be going ahead with benitez sacked, as the issue that has p#ssed off fans the most is the recruitment and wasted half billion pounds. The same recruitment mistakes are being made on repeat and fans want it sorted. The board and brands should be held to account for their failings. This is a way of highlighting their incompetence. We are sick of the cr@p signings coming to our club without any sign of due diligence.

The happy clappers will never be happy with even the smallest of token protests. Well done to those who will make a point on Monday.

This is about standards and accountability. Where there is no accountability in a workplace then people will take the conscious or even unconscious decision to give less than their best and coast through the day. We've all seen it and of course it happens because it's natural. Why give more than is necessary if those around us are not.

But where there is accountability, expectation, and standards to be met, people perform better and there are improvements across the board.

Where there is no accountability there is generally no direction in a workplace. And where there is no direction there is no unity of purpose and no incentive to better yourself.

Until these key ingredients become fundamental to the whole essence of the club, then we will not see the changes we would like. Every workplace needs to be motivated and to be driven and the first place to start is with accountability. If I know my work will be judged by someone I respect and want to impress then that's when I want to do my best work. Football is not normal life, but these issues can apply across the board.

When these things all come together then we have plenty of good things in our favour. We are a good club, in a good city, with a loyal support, so let's start to use these things to our advantage rather than allowing the club to fall further and further away from being relevant.

It would be interesting to know how many of those who are keen on this demo are match going fans?
I have no intention of leaving my seat.
Glad to hear your health has improved and you are able to attend the match again.

But please don't resort to your go to comments that non match going fans shouldn't have a say or imply they aren't as important, or any less representative of the feelings towards the club as match going fans are. There's all sorts of reasons why fans can't attend matches, as you have had yourself this season.

You think if the galloot was handed a caretaker role after the derby defeat this shambles would be being prepared?

Pfffft!

I'm all for the protests and will be participating in the 27th min walkout before returning after HT but lets not go down the road of running on the pitch as I've seen some suggest. Ffs, we've got right on our side here, lets not undermine that but making ourselves look like Millwall and hand ammunition to the idiots killing the club.

I always get a bit miffed with that, season ticket holders thinking they're super fans and everyone else should do as they're told. What about people who do goto the match, just not all the time for different reasons, what about those who live abroad, do their opinions not count?

For none season ticket holders it isn't always possible to get tickets, especially for Cat A games. A supporter is a supporter and their opinions are just as valid. I always stick up for match going fans, as they are putting up with a lot of crap over the years but it doesn't mean their voice matters more. As someone who is a match goer when I can afford it, do I get a say?

Yes, he's part of the problem too imo. He has sat on his @ss like a statue, passionless from the bench, waiting for this opportunity to prove himself again. Its the signings, the dof and the rest of the cronies on the board where most of the anger is being directed.

They should be honest about it: stay in their seats and chant anti-Benitez songs. That's what it's about, not some higher noble cause.

At least that way we keep a full stadium supporting what's going on on the pitch.

But those planning it wont do that. Everton getting a win isn't what they want. They want the manager out and they want the right of veto on all managerial appointments if they dont suit the true blue test.

THAT is the strength of it.

TBF, I doubt this idea has a majority on this forum. The other forums I took a look at are overwhelmingly against the idea...forums that also want Benitez out and cant stand this board.

It will be about different things for different people because people are different. Unless you've spoken to everyone who is going on monday then you couldn't possibly know

Just like how people vote. The key issue for one person is irrelevant to the person stood beside them in the polling station. Thats life.

The majority wont feel that way.

The galloot in the dugout, midtable for the foreseeable and a stadium in 4 years time.

They'd settle for that in a heartbeat.

As said: this has nothing to do with NSNO.
