Good point well made.

Without wishing to criticise, as they clearly want the best for us like we all do, it seems a bit “WHAT DO WE WANT”?

“WE’RE NOT 100% SURE EXACTLY”

“WHEN DO WE WANT IT”?

“ERR, LADS”…

I appreciate that’s a bit facetious but I just think they’ve started on the wrong foot and wound a large part of their target audience up.

Anyone with sense makes the decision to use a point before next weeks match - starting away from the stadium and ending on Goodison Road - to agitate around the summer transfer policy (and then broaden it out from there).

That today was sadly predictable. There are some fantastic blues there today and they're being let down a bit by the decisions of when and where to protest and what to protest against.

I thought their statement was pretty clear. Having a protest about a single issue seems a bit ridiculous to me when you consider the whole multitude of problems we've faced.

And you'll never find common ground on a single issue with a club with our support base. People love to disagree, its the way of the world.

I say well done to them. Trying to do something and not ultimately succeeding is better than doing nothing and criticising from the side.

The thing is that if thousands dont turn up then a protest like that can actually end up strengthening the board as it looks like their opponents are massively non-representative of Evertonians.

You have to wonder:

a/ why pre-season was thought a good time to protest
b/ why this wasn't a protest presented as a matter of urgency concerning the manager being hobbled in the transfer market this summer
c/ why a matchday like next week against Kiev is ruled out

I dont get the basic mistakes this lot are making.
Maybe best to protest before season starts because protesting say first game at home might make things toxic which we can't afford we need to be right behind the team together or these players melt like they did under the rat.

Yes, I agree.

I cant understand the reverance handed to the Kiev game that you'd miss an opportunity like that becuase you think it'll take away from the Ukrainian situation.

People aren't that stupid they cant appreciate both messages.

Oh ye cos ye want change but you don’t know how , so instead you critize them lads tryin to do something ,what’s the point in that in my opinion they care about what happens to the club a lot more than yous
I haven't criticised anyone ye crank. You're the one criticising and being a condescending tit just because I feel like today isn't the right time and that it could possibly turn fans against each other.

Looking at the turn out and your reaction I have been proved right on both counts.
