2FA Issue.

I set a stronger password on my account the other day, and while I was at it I turned on two-factor authentication to add a bit of extra security. I thought this would mean that every new login attempt would require a code from the auth app. However, I've just successfully logged into my account on my laptop using the new password, but wasn't asked about any authentication code. This seems like a bit of a flaw. Just to make sure, I logged out and back in, but it was the same thing. lol

Why would it not require it? Is it because I've logged into the website in the past using this laptop? If so, that's not really ideal. Or maybe it's something else..?

I disabled 2FA ages ago because the App (Authy) provides the token in the format 000 000 (which a space) when the forum wants it as 000000 (without a space) which i figured would cause confusion.

Anyway, i've enabled it again. Start it again and let us know how you get on, it seems OK for me,

With space and without a space causes Grandoldteam.com problems?


Ahhh, that's why the old ACTIVATE: PICS (no space) stopped working for new joiners

Yep, works fine now mate. :)

How come you don't just put two fields on the form, with the first have an autotab function once the bfield is filled with text? Or maybe even the more dated method of using an input mask? lol The first one sounds ideal for avoiding confusion and saving the user having to move boxes manually.

Ive no clue what you've just said there mate.

I wing this forum malarkey. Its core software, my coding skills are limited.
