The stop and go steward signs heading out to town after the game over the Bascule Bridge were interesting. All good fun booing when the stop sign was shown today, but gonna be much worse when it’s full and with away fans. 😔 Might have to find a watering hole and wait it out.

The buses from paradise st to the ground were a disaster, stuck on the strand for over half an hour due tov volume or traffic at the Costco island, it’s faster to walk. Sandhills looks just dangerous.

Rotherham needs to go now, he’s unfit for office, it’s a massive balls up to have not sorted out public transport and traffic management properly while the ground was being built, and a huge two fingers to Everton who are bringing massive regeneration to a deprived area.

He wouldn’t have left it like this if it was his manslaughtering club doing what we’ve done.

It's really true that ya'll love a queue...

I mean, it's not impossible to achieve. It needs a lot of cash thrown at it though.
Mate I live in Rhodes and they have shuttles that pick up in about 5 locations (all different fast boats)and get all the people to the island of Symi in about an hour.Non of this ferry shizz.Theses boats carry 200 plus with a bar. Before it was these slow ferries that took 2 to 3 hours.Times change. These things can and should be looked in to.

For sure, there has to be lateral thinking on this now. Things that haven't been considered before - or simply ruled out- have to come on deck. But I honestly dont think anything short of tons of cash for public transport sorts it.

The owners need to get a license and just go out and buy them and charge the fans minimum. It's not like they haven't got the money.

They'd be charging seagulls for flying over that place if they could.

They're here to take money not hand it out.

Doesn’t look great at all.

Other thing is for PL games away fans will be traveling to and from the City.

I cant remember what was in the plans for away fans for dispersal post match. Walking them back to Lime Street looks like a ridiculous proposition.

You've got to factor in that everyone left at the same time because of the evacuation order. You weren't even allowed to stay anywhere within the dock wall so everyone was leaving at once. But on match days many people will hang around drinking or even walking round the plazas, reducing the flow.
Also the congestion around the South stand is because firstly less than half the width was open, and secondly you couldn't walk all the way round the stadium, as we tried to do as the north side was closed, (as was the western terrace), so everyone had to turn back the way they'd come, adding to the crowd in a temporarily narrowed area.
Also the novelty and inquisitive aspect of walking round the stadium will not last long next season as people will most likely head straight to their turnstile before long, especially in bad weather.
