3 number 10’s.. can we make it work?

Tbh when I saw the team yesterday I thought we were playing 5 at the back with Harrison on left and Patterson on the right. If we want to play 3 number 10’s (return of Ronald😆) I think it would be possible.. it might even be good with the players we have at our disposal?

Pickford

O’Brien Tarky Branthwaite

Garner Myko

Tim Gana

McNeil Alcaraz Ndiaye

Beto

Think Garner would be suited to the role, and provides support to Tim, unsure Myko gets forward enough though.

For clarity, I’m not advocating for this set up going forward but have seen lots of posts suggesting we play our 3 tens.. wondering if something like this could make that happen?

Do any successful teams set up this way?
The old 3-2-2-3-1 formation, take out Pickford to bring it down to 11 players and we'll play last man back as keeper.

I think it’s possible to play with 3 number 10s. We could play with Alcaraz in the middle of the 3 and Ndiaye on the left, possibly McNeil on the right. But play Ndiaye and McNeil tucked in , so they don’t go wider than the width of the box.

In the summer we need to sign some options in those positions with pace. Ndiaye and Alcaraz are the only fast attacking players we have, we need a couple more

Are you advocating that we play 3 players all in the same central attacking role, or have 3 players that are good at playing in that position, but ask them to play in different positions?
