4 evil things in football.

1. Retrospective disciplinary action, and it's lack of consistency/bias.
2. Scapegoat/blame culture. An example. After every goal, commentators will instantly look for the 'at fault', rather than praise the goal. Over analysis. "If he was stood here, he wouldn't have scored..."
3. BBC Live Text Match Updates. "Sports Day" or whatever they call it.
4. 'Soccer Saturday' / 'Soccer AM' and the type of "pundit" it attracts - BANTZ/KAMMY all that crap.

You go.
Number 2 was created by Bob 'eh it's a simple game' Paisley, never praised the opposition. The failure to recognise 'shielding the ball out of play while the opposing player is the only one trying to play the ball' as obstruction makes my blood boil.

Players going down too easily/pundits saying they are entitled to go down
Defenders holding forwards at corners etc
Replica kits on fat people
Celebrity fans who have never been at a match

'There was contact'. It's a contact sport - do one.

The rancid standard of officiating. Quite the coincidence how the referees get discussed more and more, but the consistency and general performance steadily decreases. Lack of accountability is massive here imo.

Steven Gerrard - has single handedly done more to promote diving, cheating and players refereeing games than any other player since Sky invented football. And that's before even touching on shytehouse tackles and his extra-curricular activities.

The skewed money culture of the game. Far more should be done by the clubs (and FA/Premier league) benefitting from the TV money in particular to improve grass roots facilities.

LOL @ me being not that arsed about players diving.

I wonder how most would react if Ross Barkley dives in the Europa League final in the 92nd minute to win us a pen that Baines scored to win us the match.
