My respect for Paolo di Canio is solely down to his sportsmanship shown at Goodison. I know he's not the perfect role model, but I also refuse to believe he's as bad as he's made out to be. There's always a middle way. Hate the fascist gesture btw.

Sir Bobby Robson, great manager and gent to boot.
Roy Hodgson everywhere he goes he does or seems to do a good job(hopefully not later today!).
Steve Gibson
Niall Quinn
Graham Taylor, yes Graham Taylor:blink:

Interesting selections so far !

Here's a random selection of mine:

David James - an interesting character, and in particular for the outstanding work of his foundation.

David Beckham - if you ever go to watch an England game, he's the most popular player by a country mile. A great ambassador for the UK and sterling charity work.

Roy Hodgson - I bumped into him last year whilst with my kids. He was so friendly towards them and chatted to them for several minutes. Not earth-shattering but demonstrates how nice a guy he is.

Pele - What is there not to like about this guy? The greatest footballer ever, a seemingly good human being and a tireless worker for those less fortunate than himself.

Jim Boyce - Former President of the Irish FA - a great guy, totally in love with grass roots football. Long associated with Cliftonville FC and Irish cricket, and a victim of a bomb attack in 1971. In 2011 he will become FIFA's British Vice President. Top Guy (y)

Beckham?
Seriously encapsulates everything WRONG about the modern game. Don't care if he is a decent bloke.

Bobby Robson
I don't think anyone on earth could have a bad word to say about this man.

Thierry Henry
Huge fan.

Jose Mourinho
I wish he'd come back to England. He is the most entertaining and charismatic manager in the modern game.

David Beckham
Gotta love Becks.

Dario Gradi
Manager at Crewe for 24 years and an incredibly nice man. I was born in Crewe and I went to see them a fair bit when I was younger. Met Dario lots of times and he is a class act.
