Me and the Mrs were both in retail at the time. We’d just picked up a brand new 20 plate Vauxhall on finance and when the lockdown was announced on the evening news, and we both crapped ourselves at having to take pay cuts. Good friend of mine died from Covid aged just 50 and when the conspiracy theorists start up and spout the same nonsense over and over it makes me utterly furious.
