6 + 2 Point Deductions

No, he's a WUM.

Go back and read how he defended the scab 6 tooth and nail when they tried to split for the euro super league.
This is where it gets really silly. The teams who were breaking away were breaking away from the Champions League. They were remaining in the Premier League.

The bizarre bit is the breakaway was when the Premier League broke away from the Football League. Guess who was right at the centre of that breakaway. Us you clown.

Sir Philip Carter: Everton chairman who helped transform domestic football as a leader of the group that founded the Premier League

More controversially, he combined his football and business acumen as a prime mover in the formation of the Premier League.

The breakaway league, which has become the world’s most lucrative domestic competition since the split with the Football League in 1992, had its origins in meetings which Carter organised as far back as 1980. Interviewed by journalist Joe Lovejoy for the book Glory, Goals and Greed: Twenty Years of the Premier League, he revealed that he and representatives of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur met officials from Celtic and Rangers that year to discuss a possible “Super League”.

Does that make us part of the scab four.

But wasn't it agreed by the FA and all the unions to go ahead with the proposal in order to improve the English game? The TV money was increasing, 10 clubs in 1988 voted for a breakaway league too. It was seen as a way to improve the stadiums/facilities etc if the TV money was funnelled into one league.

Thats the complete opposite to the Sly 6 jumping to an unsanctioned closed shop tournament/league solely for profit after announcing it out of the blue on social media.

Mate...he's a proper blooo.

Just thinks the scab 6 did no wrong and that we deserve a 10 point deduction is all
Just someone who uses their brain, which seems to be a rare commodity around here.

If we were part of the so-called scab 6, no one would bat an eyelid. We did exactly the same thing in 92 and were one of the prime movers behind the premier league. As for the points deduction. The clowns running the club admitted breaking P&S rules. Once that happened we were always going to get between 6 and 12 points.

Look at the deductions the EFL have routinely handed out.

We can lash out and come up with whatabouttery. Or we can look at how the club has been run and look to change things.

We didn't do the same back in 92.

And 6 points is fair for a league that has never done this thing before and doesn't know what to do. Every man and his dog has said 10 is harsh.

The EFL have defined rules and have mainly dished out 6 for P&S and 10-12 for administration or a combination of factors.

10 solely down to £19.5mill above P&S threshold is something the EFL wouldn't have done

We broke away from the Football League who the FA hated. The FA were the toffs who ran the England team. they were the establishment. The Football League was a working-class organisation. We left because we wanted a bigger share of the pie.

It came about not through consultation but through dodgy backroom deals. As for unsanctioned Carter was trying to setup a Super League with Rangers and Celtic. Teams from different countries setting up a new League.

Flags and Banners won't do......

We need to really think of ideas that won't end up costing a fortune in fines .....

I bet the premier league have been on to Sky already warning them to not show anything that paints them in bad light....

We really need to think outside the box here
