6 + 2 Point Deductions

Imagine there was a league where 6 of the teams had all the best players, all the money, and all the favourable refereeing decisions, and had the pulling power of the European competitions that enticed all other players towards them.

The other 14 teams barely had any money, none of their players wanted to play for them, and even when they did get money they weren’t allowed to spend it. They were then forced to sell all their best players to the top 6 and despite doing this for years on end quite a few of them ended up having points deducted.

The PL. Unless the scab six F off to a super league, people are just going to stop watching it. It’s boring.
At least UEFA have 36 teams they can throw into a "league" format to mix things up. What are the Premier League going to do?

No, no, no. Let's welcome Leicester to the top-flight as they start their return with a 6 points deduction. Throw in Leeds and Ipswich as well and I reckon Sean "Dychey" Dyche can do the needful and get us a welcome 17th in the Old Lady's last season.
Sounds like a plan ;)

Watch all the clubs vote a rule change in now, leaving us the only ones to get punished. I still think Forest who have the leading sports law KC will manage to end up with some pathetic punishment even though they are over by more than our £19.5m breach.

Was always going to be the case. We were the scapegoats to be made an example of. They wanted 12 points off us. Got 10. Ended up 6. Could be more. All to prove to the independent regulator they're not needed.

Now look. Forest next up. Villa now having to sell to stay in line made better IF they finish 4th.

Then they'll change the rules and this will be forgotten about

Do Forest fans have an X-based squadron of “football finance experts” that have estimated their breach? Their club statements have been very much “lets get it over with” rather than vowing to defend themselves. Clearly acknowledging guilt, but hard to know if that’s because they are comfortable because it’s a tiny breach, or because they know there is no point arguing because they’ve blown the limit to bits.

Just going by the athletic article which states sources believe theirs is more than ours, however they believe they will get a 3 point deduction.

Then goes on about their respectful behaviour arpund the breach, the fact that they worked with PL and also, Johnsons sale was best for sustainability and only 2 weeks over the deadline. The article suggests they will certainly appeal if they get hit with 6 points. So either they know something or are burying their head in the sand/very naive.

Which is what I've said all along.

"Case by case basis" was said right at the end of our initial hearing. No club will ever get his with 10 points.

What happened to us was absolutely scandalous. But now we'll be told to be quiet and be pushed to one side.

It's a complete joke ran by a cartel to protect their brand.

Forest and their lawyers have a blueprint from our case and how to then defend it properly. The league know they can't do 10 points again because it's not justified.

So it's won't matter if they're double over our losses, the two will have done things the "right" way...and settle on 3-6 points.

Like I say. Corrupt and scandalous

The deadline for PSR must have been June 23 and they sold Johnson in August 23 having played him in 3 games of the 23/24 season.

That’s more like 2 fingers up to the PL rather than respectful.

Wonder what our finances look like for next year, if they are bad we will need to sell someone to maybe stay out of trouble, by June, or whatever the end of the financial year is, though we wouldnt know till around the end of the year again - Hopefully we actually have people who know if we are close or not, as it just seems like they dont have a clue till its to late, otherwise if we get safe, we could go through the same thing again with pos deductions
