statutory loss just means as per the statutory accounts, so before PSR deductions.

Actual work on the stadium (labour/materials) doesn’t affect profit/loss as held on the Balance Sheet. Normally for PSR we’d deduct interest on loans specifically for the stadium build, but this year that interest of £19m has also been held on the balance sheet.

So the only deductions this year for PSR will be the murky “women’s spend and infrastructure” etc etc.
