Just noticed that William Hill's aren't offering odds on Man City or Chelsea being relegated. Which is odd, considering you can bet on the RS to go down at 1000/1.

Probably just covering their backs, just in case,. But think it's interesting anyhow.

City at 150-1 and Chelsea at 100-1.. definitely covering themselves. We are now 11-1...

We dont, despite what reliable outlets such as Sky and the DailyMail try and drum up, we arent even close to a breach of any kind. You cant be one of the lowest spending teams over the past 4 years and somehow breach P&S. Weve had transfer profits for 3 years running.

Not a chance they go down, the PL haven’t got the bottle. They will reduce ours and bring in a cap of 10/12 points, knowing that it will keep the top 6 safe from relegation. It will also stop them threatening to breakaway again.

The simple point is we broke rules and a panel found us guilty. Its all there in black and white. Of course it seems harsh but that's a moot point til there's a comparable case. Only then can we cry injustice.

And appealing now seems ridiculous if it results in a suspended sentence.

A suspended sentence is the worst possible outcome.
Take the punishment this season and we'll be absolutely fine. Take a 10 point deduction in literally any other season and we'll have a very good chance of relegation.

If we still above the 105 millions limit for 23 24 then we deserve everything we get...a one off should be allowed through suspended sentence with exceptional circumstances...but thinking about last season, we did not spend that much on signings and made good profits on players sold...I am wondering if all those interest loans are ultimately adding more pressure on us to meet psr rules...

No, as others have said the next PSR calculation will be the average of 19/20 and 20/21 plus 21/22 plus 22/23, for which we don’t know the result.

The rolling three years mean every year one year is dropped off and replaced.

In our case this is no bad thing because 18/19 drops off for 22/2 and that was over 100m loss, with no Covid deductions, so getting it off the calculation helps a lot.

With a detailed report provided and independent adjudicators there is no corruption to prove. That's my point. Let's see what happens to others before crying wolf but it really isn't a big deal when you consider what's really important in life.
