They didn’t actually break any rules though. They were threatened with punishment, but the super league never went ahead.

Not that I don’t think our punishment is complete bollocks. But people are comparing apples and oranges using the proposed super league idea which was canned.

They are embracing the spirit of this " independent comission".

Given the harshness of this is largely because we misled the PL, this very much polarises the Man City charges. If found guilty they will almost certainly be relegated.

Just popped into the City forum, they’re obviously concerned but feel their charges are lesser than ours. Regardless, they’ll just set up a European Super League.

Its questionable that their charges are less than ours...I guess nobody knows. But 115 of them I am sure will more than make it up...seeing the way the premier league is giving the punishment, it would be at the very least 1 point for each prove infringement which means probably 115 points at the very least.

I don’t think they’ve realised what sort of fan base they’ve angered with this today, they think we’re lying down with this, they’re sadly mistaken, Goodison is going to be the nastiest it’s ever been for the rest of the season as are the away ends at every ground we still have to go to. Amazing how we managed to relegate Leeds, Leicester and Burnley in 2 seasons.
