Exactly, my point is the markets don't know what is going to happen and you can throw Forest's situation in there too. 6 points drops them to 14 points therefore making it more likely we and others survive. We know there is a groundswell that might return some points to us, perhaps we get 6 + 6 or 6 + 4 as we are being charged twice. No one knows yet until it the appeal is dealt with and the new hearing if we have breached again.

They just don't want to be taken to the cleaners in a volatile moment.

The bookies have odds displayed . Doesn't mean they will lose much money on it
Ask one of them for 2000 on forest to go down at them odds and see what they say.

A little known fact.... Bookies have what's called a gentleman's agreement when you place a bet. They could accept the bet, take your money and still refuse to pay out. There is nothing in law that says they have to pay you.

That's why you see reports of fellas who have won loads on crazy bets or slot machine jackpots and the bookies/casinos have told them to do one.

The governments over the years could change that and make it law overnight, but have chosen not to.

What they don't want to be is the last bookmaker taking bets on this. That makes their exposure enormous.

Yes . There is no legal obligation to pay really. You can then object to their licence but still not get paid.
Has happened over the years with so called betting coups .

I see people still believe that the bookies are told any confidential news before anybody else.

They base their odds on betting patterns. They know just as much as us at the minute.

Yeah, they’ll be watching the exchange and there is almost zero volume there.
