Just got forwarded a message that Alan Myers is telling people the deals completed.Must not be true since it's Al.

Reporters are well known for not breaking stories through normal channels like their employer or even Twitter. Just letting information fly out with no attribution is a great career move.

Well he didn't tell my uncle. According to the text he told someone called mike and this has somehow made it's way to me probably through thousands of other people.

My uncle being told directly would have been believable as he give me the one transfer scoop I ever had on Bluekipper which was Gary Naysmith signing for Sheffield United.
