They showed intent already except for R&M thwarted them, they would get 51% for the 160m they’re already owed but would have to get the remaining stadium costs together (whatever that comes to) and your right some sort of bridging funds between now and next Christmas either themselves or invite a 3rd party to join them.

What do you reckon is needed to complete the stadium?
Mr Bobble said 55m yesterday I believe.

But I dont know if thats just to the builder people.

Maybe the Stadium needs other work once "built"?

I dont know how it works.

It’s hard to know what other commitments they have with the council etc. for outside the ground.

Whatever it is, that’s what the PL will insist on seeing in place before they let them in.

You'd assume it needs decorating, all the equipment putting in, offices setting up etc.

We just have to live longer in hope. once the club announces 777 are gone, I know I'll feel a lot more at ease over the Situation ( That doesn't mean I'll suddenly feel at ease tho, just a weight off my shoulders )

Once 777 are shifted , it will be like throwing bread to pigeons with the amount of Investment offers coming are way.

777 never had the money to buy us we have wasted eight months on these clowns Moshiri needs to lower price and sell to right buyers with money to sort our debts out and invest in the squad

The lender would be taking away the very reasons for possible administration and have full control over that possibility.

This will why the club brought in restructuring advisers a week ago and we now know that Bell and co were in talks at that stage

Whether it works or not, I would think that’s the plan.
It will be very difficult for a traditional lender to lend much to a cash negative business. We may have some collateral but our results would be a very tough sell. I’d assume that’s why we don’t have that in place now.

This is beyond a parody now.

Even if Moshiri finally comes to his senses and puts 777 in the bin, we are looking at months before a new owner warms the boardroom surely?
Due diligence, passing fit & proper tests etc.
Look how long it took Ratcliffe to get approved for 25% of Utd - and he ain't skint ... so who funds us in the meantime? Moshiri?

They won't get it any cheaper than that. It would be about £400 million for them, £200 to 777 and £200 to R&M. If they wait for administration they won't be able to necessarily buy the club, and they won't necessarily get their money back.

What would the debt be at that point though?

Let’s say the 160 owed to MSP is now gone as equity, Moshiri is still in situ so his debt won’t count, the 3rd party put in whatever it takes to finish the stadium and join up with MSP and convert to equity.

That just leaves 777 and R&M and some other small loans. Add that together into a mortgage that’s probably half the value of the stadium. (You still have Goodison to sell)

In theory (as some have been saying)

MSP = 51% debt converted to equity.
+
Moshiri as largest shareholders

£400mil debts to 777 + R&M still owing.

If the rumours are true and MSP want another partner or partners to come in then the two English chaps may well come in with £100mil to complete the stadium etc.

Then Bahrain or elsewhere rumours may see anywhere £200-400mil to clear off one or both debts.

When the stadium is built then we could mortgage it at a low % over 20 years and have a large cash amount on the balance sheet.

777 have been funding us so it would have to be the same with any prospective new owners

This is more or less what my expectations are. My guess is they’ll leave the junior debt until last. But once the stadium is revenue generating the debt will be restructured.

He's just another sports 'journalist' talking guesswork really isn't he - just in his own style of ''financial expert'.

He comes across as a bit 'internet educated' at times - I wonder if he is making anything out of all this attention ? Assume so.
