Clock’s ticking down towards the end of the month now…

Even in the worst possible scenario if you were Moshiri you would scrape together what needs to be paid out to take us to the transfer window opening and then sell off Pickford, Dom, Branthwaite and Onana. Surely that would be enough to finish the stadium and keep the lights on for next season.

Hopefully it won’t come to selling all of them!

But yes, Moshiri is as motivated as anyone to ensure the lights stay on.

I will miss this thread, by far my favourite of recent GOT history. The level of fume and panic in here has reached deadline day levels 7 days a week it seems

Why would R&M or MSP agree to take a haircut when between them they have sufficient security to cover their debt? Not happening IMO.

The only people taking a haircut are Moshiri and 777.

It's difficult to believe the loans made by 777 didn't come with some description of covenant requiring full repayment by Moshiri or any alternative buyer in the event the 777 deal collapsed and the club ended up in different hands.

Even if they didn't, I really can't see the 777 administrators accepting a haircut any time soon. The 777 collapse is going to be sufficiently messy that it will be filling courtrooms for years to come. Rushing into taking a haircut will just see the administrators join them. American creditors are vicious.

To the first point, they have no security so they have no leverage.
